# Pricing

Choose the free local path when you want to run your own infrastructure and provider accounts. Buy DreamLayer Agent API credits only when you want managed execution.

## Local paths

DreamLayer charges \$0 for the open-source runtime, DreamLayer WebUI, SDKs, MCP server, local ComfyUI transport, custom orchestrators, and optional AI Policy Builder. You pay for your own hardware and any provider account you connect.

## Managed execution

* One credit costs \$0.17.
* Text-to-image uses one credit.
* Image-to-image uses one credit.
* The minimum purchase is 59 credits, or $10.03, which meets the $10 minimum.
* Credits do not expire.
* When auto-reload becomes available after beta, its minimum amount and threshold are each 59 credits, or \$10.03.
* Every beta tester receives 10 separate promotional credits, worth \$1.70.

## Purchase and restoration

Purchased API credits are non-refundable. A live job reserves one credit and settles it only after delivery. A failed or cancelled job that does not deliver the contracted result restores the reserved credit automatically.

## Check your balance

Open `platform.dreamlayer.io/console/billing` to see promotional and purchased credits separately. Open the usage page to see reservation, settlement, and restoration state without prompts, images, or private routing metadata.

During beta, use one-time checkout or an approved promotional grant. Auto-reload controls are not active in the beta console.
